The Root Session

The Root Session is a complimentary 45-minute conversation. A dedicated space to talk about where you are, what you are working toward, and whether coaching together feels like the right fit. There is no obligation. It is available once per person and it is the starting point for every coaching relationship at Support The Root.

The Root Session is available once per person. If we have already connected and you are feeling ready to move forward, whether that is right away or further down the road, use the contact form to reach out. We will pick up from there, and you would begin at the current rate in effect at that time. The door is always open.

About Health Coaching

Health coaching is an educational, supportive partnership focused on your whole-person wellbeing. Your food, lifestyle, habits, energy, stress, and more. It helps you identify what you want to change, build a realistic plan to get there, and stay supported along the way. It is not medical advice, therapy, or clinical treatment. It is a personalized, collaborative approach to building lasting healthy habits.

A doctor diagnoses and treats medical conditions. A registered dietitian provides clinical nutrition therapy. A health coach works alongside your existing healthcare team, helping you take the goals and recommendations you already have and put them into practice in your daily life.

Yes, and it is encouraged. Health coaching is designed to complement medical care, not replace it. Many clients work with a coach to build the lifestyle habits that support what their providers are already doing.

The focus of this work is lifestyle habits. Some women find general wellness tools supportive alongside the habits they are building, and those conversations happen within the coaching relationship when relevant. For personalized guidance on supplements specific to your health history and goals, your doctor or a registered dietitian is the right resource.

Sessions and Programs

Every session is fully personalized to you. We check in on how you have been feeling, review your progress, explore what is working and what is not, and set clear intentions for the weeks ahead. Sessions are 60 minutes, take place virtually through your Practice Better client portal, and build on each other. Each session goes deeper into what matters most as the work progresses.

Sessions take place virtually through your Practice Better client portal. Camera on or off, whichever feels most comfortable. Once your session is confirmed, you will receive a calendar invite with your session link and a reminder the day before so you can arrive feeling prepared and unhurried. All sessions are scheduled in Eastern Time. Coaching services are available to adults 18 and older.

All paid sessions are 60 minutes. Root Restore and Deeply Rooted sessions take place every two weeks, giving you time between sessions to practice, experiment, and notice what is shifting. Rooted program sessions take place weekly over six consecutive weeks, one focused theme at a time.

Root Restore is a three-month program of six bi-weekly sessions focused on building your foundation. Identifying patterns, establishing habits, and creating real momentum. It includes a program guide, journals through Practice Better, and between-session portal messaging. Deeply Rooted is a six-month program of twelve sessions that goes further, with expanded journal access, a dedicated mid-point recalibration, and more time to go deeper into the work.

Rooted is a six-week faith-centered coaching program for the woman who wants her health and her belief in the same conversation. Each weekly session moves through one area of focus, with scripture, reflection, and optional prayer woven into the work. It is a distinct program with its own arc, its own pacing, and its own foundation. Learn more on the Rooted page.

The Single Session is available for the woman who wants to begin with one conversation before committing to a program. It is a single 60-minute coaching session with no program enrollment required. From there, she can decide whether a longer program feels like the right next step.

Every coaching relationship begins with a complimentary Root Session. There is no obligation to enroll in a program until you are ready and feel confident it is the right fit for you.

Sessions are never recorded by Support The Root, and clients are asked not to record sessions without prior written consent. These conversations are private and personal.

Investment and Logistics

All payments are processed securely through Practice Better. Payment plans are available for all three programs. The Root Session is complimentary.

Health coaching is generally not covered by insurance at this time. All sessions and programs are private pay. Some HSA and FSA plans may reimburse for health coaching. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility before booking.

Life happens. Please reach out as soon as possible. At least 48 hours notice is required for cancellations and reschedules. A pause of up to 30 days may be requested once per program, subject to mutual agreement. All sessions must be completed within one year of purchase. Full details are outlined in your signed agreement.

Root Completion is a milestone worth celebrating. From there, two paths are available: re-enroll in a new program to keep building, or transition into Root Renewal Sessions, recommended every one to three months, as an exclusive post-completion benefit available to all program graduates. There is no pressure and no automatic renewal. We will talk it through together as your program wraps up.

Those listings are an informational reference only. The Favorites page lists products from personal experience only, and any affiliate relationship where a commission is earned is disclosed on that page in compliance with FTC requirements.

The reading list is an independent reference and is not a coaching protocol or required reading. Books in the For Personal Exploration section explore territory beyond the scope of health coaching and are listed for personal reading only. No resource on that page is used as a coaching tool or clinical recommendation.

Support The Root does not provide referrals to specific therapists, physicians, or clinical providers. The Telehealth and Mental Health page under Resources includes an informational reference list of virtual care platforms that may be explored independently. For clinical referrals, a primary care physician is the right starting point.
