Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 4, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of supporttheroot.com and your engagement with Support The Root, LLC, owned and operated by Paige. Support The Root, LLC, is referred to throughout these Terms and Conditions as “Support The Root.” By accessing this website, submitting a booking request, or engaging with Support The Root in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.

Coaching services are governed separately by the agreement signed for the applicable service. For program clients, that includes the Coaching Partnership Agreement, Schedule A, and Client Handbook signed at enrollment. These Terms and Conditions apply to general use of this website and do not replace or modify the signed documents that govern coaching services. All operational policies and procedures governing an active coaching relationship, including scheduling, cancellation, refund, pause, and expiry terms, are set out in those signed documents. If website content conflicts with the applicable signed documents, the signed documents govern.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this website.

1. Nature of Services

Support The Root offers virtual, one-on-one integrative health and wellness coaching. All coaching services are educational and supportive in nature. They are not medical advice, clinical treatment, therapy, psychological counseling, or clinical nutrition services of any kind.

Coaching through Support The Root is designed to complement your existing healthcare, not replace it. If you are under the care of a physician, therapist, or any other licensed healthcare provider, please continue that care. Any goals or topics discussed in coaching sessions are explored for educational and informational purposes only. For full scope-of-practice details, please review the Disclaimer.

Support The Root provides general, non-medical nutrition and wellness information and client-led coaching focused on sustainable habits, values, routines, reflection, and accountability. Support The Root does not provide medical nutrition therapy, individualized meal plans, supplement protocols, exercise prescriptions, or other clinical or prescriptive services. Paige is a health coach and is not a licensed dietitian, nutritionist, or physician and is not presented as any of these.

2. Eligibility

Coaching services through Support The Root are available to adults 18 years of age and older located in the United States only. Cross-border health coaching involves regulatory and professional considerations that fall outside the current scope of this practice. By submitting a booking request or entering into a coaching agreement, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. The Root Session

The Root Session is a complimentary forty-five-minute introductory conversation available once per person. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a confirmed session. Sessions are confirmed by Support The Root after review of your request. The Root Session carries no obligation to purchase any paid service.

4. Paid Services and Payment

All paid coaching programs and sessions require the signed agreement applicable to the selected service before the service is confirmed. Payment is due at enrollment or booking according to the payment option you select, unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing. Payments are processed through Practice Better using Stripe. All prices are in USD.

Launching rates for Rooted, Root Restore, and Deeply Rooted are available until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on January 11, 2027. Single Session and Root Renewal Session rates are not launching rates. Your eligibility for a launching rate is determined when you sign the applicable agreement and the required initial payment successfully settles. Once enrollment is confirmed, your Total Program Investment is locked and will not increase because the launching rate later ends.

If you completed a Root Session, were invited to a program, and joined that program’s waitlist before the launching-rate period ended, your launching rate for that program is held through March 31, 2027. When a place is offered to you, you will have seven days to confirm enrollment at that rate. If no place becomes available by March 31, 2027, the launching rate expires.

5. Practice Better Platform Consent

Coaching services through Support The Root are delivered through Practice Better, a third-party practice-management platform operating under its own terms, privacy policy, and security practices, which Support The Root does not independently control or guarantee. By enrolling in any coaching service, completing the booking form, or otherwise engaging in a coaching relationship with Support The Root, you consent to the use of Practice Better for sessions, scheduling, document delivery, messaging, session access, and payment processing.

You are encouraged to review Practice Better’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Support The Root is not responsible for the operations, availability, security practices, or terms of Practice Better. Support The Root remains responsible for its own use and configuration of the platform.

6. Email Communications Consent

By voluntarily subscribing to the Tended newsletter or any other email list operated by Support The Root, you consent to receive periodic email communications including but not limited to newsletter content, program offerings, and educational material.

Email communications are sent through MailerLite, a third-party email service provider. You are encouraged to review MailerLite’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email communication. Support The Root does not sell, rent, or share subscriber email addresses with any third party for marketing purposes.

7. Text Message Communications Consent

If you opt in to text message communications through Practice Better, you may receive session reminders, scheduling updates, or other operational text messages related to your coaching engagement. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.

You consent to text message communications by enabling the option in your Practice Better client portal and may withdraw consent at any time by disabling that option or by replying STOP to any text message received. Support The Root does not currently send marketing or promotional text messages. If marketing text messages are introduced in the future, separate explicit consent will be required, and notice will be provided in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and applicable laws.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

For a program enrollment, you may cancel for a full refund before your first coaching session begins. Once the first coaching session has taken place, program payments are final except as otherwise expressly stated in the documents signed at enrollment. Where a refund of undelivered value is expressly due, the amount is calculated under the Refund Allocation section of the Coaching Partnership Agreement.

The Root Session is complimentary and requires no payment.

The complete cancellation, rescheduling, refund, pause, package, and completion-deadline terms are stated in the agreement signed for the applicable service. For program clients, those terms are stated in the Coaching Partnership Agreement, Schedule A, and Client Handbook signed at enrollment.

9. Confidentiality

Personal information you share through the coaching relationship and the booking process is treated as confidential. It may be disclosed with your authorization; as reasonably necessary to provide, administer, secure, or collect payment for services; to professional advisers who reasonably need the information and are subject to confidentiality obligations; as required or permitted by applicable law or legal process; or in response to a serious and reasonably imminent risk of harm to you or another person. When disclosure is necessary, Support The Root limits the information disclosed to what is reasonably appropriate under the circumstances.

Support The Root is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not represent that you receive rights under HIPAA through the coaching relationship. Support The Root nevertheless applies reasonable privacy and security practices to the information it maintains.

If you voluntarily share medical records, laboratory reports, or other health information originating from a HIPAA-covered provider, that information is treated with the same care and discretion as other personal information you share with Support The Root. Receiving that information does not, by itself, cause Support The Root to become subject to HIPAA.

Complete confidentiality terms are stated in your applicable signed agreement. Information collected through this website is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Not a Crisis Service

Health coaching is for general wellness support and is not a crisis or emergency service. Messages are not monitored continuously. If you are ever in immediate danger, please contact 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or 911.

11. Session Recording

Sessions are conducted virtually through Practice Better. Support The Root does not record individual coaching sessions as part of its ordinary practice. A session will not be recorded unless both parties provide prior written consent describing the purpose, access, storage, and retention of the recording. You agree not to record a session by any means, including any built-in recording feature within the session platform, any third-party application, or any other device, without the prior written consent of Support The Root. Unauthorized recording may result in termination of the coaching relationship under your applicable signed agreement.

12. Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge that coaching results are not guaranteed and depend on your own effort, commitment, and circumstances, and that no specific outcome is promised or warranted. Support The Root makes no representations or warranties regarding specific outcomes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Support The Root, LLC, its owner, and its employees and independent contractors acting within the authorized scope of their work will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on this website, its content, or any third-party resource referenced on this website. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or another non-waivable obligation under applicable law. Liability relating to coaching services is governed by the applicable signed agreement.

They may not be reproduced, published, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission. Client materials are governed by the agreement signed for the applicable coaching service.

14. Website Use, Availability, and Security

This website and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Support The Root does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, and does not guarantee that the website or any information transmitted through it is fully secure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Support The Root is not liable for any loss or harm resulting from your use of or inability to use the website, from any interruption, error, or delay, from any virus or harmful component, or from any unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of the website or its data by a third party. You access this website at your own risk and are responsible for your own device and connection security. The limitations in this section are subject to the exceptions stated under Limitation of Liability.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or coaching services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Michigan.
