Terms and Acceptance

Support The Root, LLC is referred to throughout these Terms as “Support The Root.” These Terms govern use of this website and general public interactions with Support The Root. They do not govern a coaching service itself, which is governed by the agreement signed for that service.

Nature of Support The Root Services

Support The Root provides health and wellness coaching that is educational and collaborative in nature. Coaching is not medical, mental-health, dietetic, therapeutic, or other licensed professional care. For the full scope of what health coaching through Support The Root does and does not include, please review the Disclaimer.

Eligibility and Location

Support The Root provides coaching services only to adults 18 years of age or older located in the United States. Availability in a particular jurisdiction remains subject to applicable requirements and the agreement governing the service. By submitting a request or entering into a coaching agreement, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

The Root Session

The Root Session is a complimentary, forty-five-minute introductory conversation available once per person. Submitting a request does not guarantee a confirmed session; sessions are confirmed by Support The Root after review. The Root Session carries no obligation to enroll in any paid service and is governed by the Root Session Agreement.

Paid Coaching Services

Current rates and promotional terms are shown on the applicable offer page. For program clients, the program selected, your investment, payment option, payment schedule, and any applicable launching-rate terms are stated in your Program and Investment Confirmation, which forms part of your Coaching Partnership Agreement.

Payments

Program payments are processed using the card on file. All prices are stated in U.S. dollars.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Terms

Paid services are subject to the cancellation, rescheduling, refund, pause, completion, and related terms provided in the applicable signed documents before enrollment or booking.

Client Portal and Third-Party Platform

Coaching services use a third-party practice-management platform operating under its own terms, privacy policy, and security practices. The platform used for the applicable coaching service is identified, and your consent to its use is obtained, in the agreement governing that service. Information handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

Appointment Reminders

If you provide a mobile number and choose SMS appointment reminders through the client portal, you may receive administrative text-message reminders relating to scheduled appointments. SMS reminders are not used for urgent, medical, or coaching support. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier. Reminder preferences may be changed through the client portal where available.

Email Communications

By voluntarily subscribing to the Tended newsletter or any other email list operated by Support The Root, you consent to receive periodic email communications. Email communications are sent through MailerLite, a third-party email service provider operating under its own terms and privacy policy. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in any email. Support The Root does not sell, rent, or share subscriber email addresses with any third party for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Websites and Resources

This website may reference or link to third-party websites, platforms, or resources that operate independently of Support The Root. Support The Root does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of any third-party website or service.

Intellectual Property

Original written content, graphics, branding, and other protectable materials appearing on this website belong to Support The Root, LLC, unless otherwise identified. They may not be reproduced, published, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission. Client materials are governed by the agreement signed for the applicable coaching service.

Prohibited Website Use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with or attempt to compromise its security or normal operation, to scrape or reproduce its content beyond what these Terms permit, to infringe the intellectual property rights of Support The Root or any third party, or to impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with Support The Root.

Website Availability and Accuracy

This website and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Support The Root does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, and makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not guarantee the completeness or reliability of any information on this site. Content is subject to change without notice.

Website Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Support The Root, LLC, its owner, and its employees and independent contractors acting within the authorized scope of their work will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on this website or its content. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability relating to a coaching service is governed by the agreement signed for that service, not by these Terms.

Governing Coaching Documents

For program clients, the Coaching Partnership Agreement, Program and Investment Confirmation, and Client Handbook govern the coaching engagement together. A Root Session, Single Session, or Root Renewal Session is governed by the agreement signed for that applicable service. These Terms govern use of the website and do not replace or modify the documents governing a coaching service. If website content conflicts with an applicable signed agreement concerning the coaching service, the signed agreement governs.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from the use of this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Michigan.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent substantive revision.
